Mount Gay is not only the oldest rum in the world, it is the first rum in the world. From this simple insight a campaign was formed to launch Mount Gay in South Africa. Since inception the rum has travelled from Barbados, to be drunk somewhere else… maturing in the second barrel on route. It's been waiting for you for over 300 years.
